At Borrowell, we’re big on celebrations. Whether it be birthdays at the office, promotions, or company anniversaries – we’re always ready with balloons and cake in hand.
So what’s so special about June 20th? On June 20th, 2016, Borrowell became the first company in Canada to offer credit scores for free! In those two years, we’ve served over half a million free credit score members – and have pulled more than 3.26 million credit scores for those members.
We’ve loved helping Canadians discover and improve their credit scores, but we’re just getting started! In the last year, we’ve introduced full Equifax credit reports (also free), launched our credit monitoring service in Quebec (Bonjour!) and have strengthened our recommendations engine. We use this engine to recommend you financial products that suit your credit profile and will either improve your credit score or improve your financial well-being in general.
That’s what we’re all about at Borrowell – helping you achieve your financial goals. Your credit score might be a deciding factor in whether you’ll be approved for a personal loan, credit card, or a mortgage and having a good credit score will make it easier to do all of those things. Knowing your credit score is the first step to understanding and improving it.
In fact, a recent Borrowell study found a correlation between monitoring your credit score and credit score improvement over time. So if you haven’t done so yet, join us in celebration by getting your free credit score from Borrowell on this special day!
