How do I delete my Borrowell account?

In order to deactivate your Borrowell account, simply send us an email to [email protected] and one of our agents will assist you.

I answered the identity security questions, but I still was not able to get my credit score?

If you've tried unsuccessfully to answer the identity verification questions, we're not able to show you the credit score. The protection of personal credit bureau information is very important to us. If you think there is an error on your file, we recommend contacting Equifax directly to ensure that they have your proper name, DOB, address, etc. We use Equifax's API, and don't make the decision over the identity verification system. It comes directly via Equifax. You can reach them here: 1-866-828-5961.

My phone carrier is not supported. How can I verify my identity?

The phone number verification is our alternative identity verification process. If you were not successful in passing the identity security questions and the phone verification, then chances are there may be some discrepancies from what is on your Borrowell account and what Equifax has on file for you. We recommend contacting Equifax directly to ensure that they have your proper name, DOB, address, etc. We use Equifax's API, and don't make the decision over the identity verification system. How do I change my password?

If you require login assistance, please reset your password by clicking here. Please follow the steps to ensure that: 

  • Your password contains a minimum of 8 characters and at least 1 number
  • The email address is the email associated with your Borrowell account 
  • Any pre-populated field is cleared. Please re-type your email address and password to ensure there are no mistakes. If possible, try logging in on a different browser on your desktop to make sure your information is not automatically being populated. You can also try clearing your browsers history/cache/cookies to see if this resolves the issue. 

How can I download/print my credit report?

At this time, we don't have the feature to download your credit report however you are still able to print your credit report like any other web browser page. We suggest searching to see how to print for your specific browser, however, in most cases, you should be able to "right click" and select the print option.

Why didn’t I get any identity verification questions?

If your file has a flag on it, you may be prevented from seeing verification questions. This is for security purposes. You can contact Equifax Canada to clear things up at 1-800-465-7166.
